Based on our OPTANO platform, we develop customized software for successful companies such as car manufacturers, airlines and leading strategy consultancies. Our company was founded in 2009 and has continued to grow ever since. Our team in Paderborn now comprises more than 50 employees.

OPTANO is our platform for user-friendly applications. Many new ideas on visualization, process support, storage, faster calculation, etc. are just waiting to be implemented and this is where we need your support!
As a software engineer m/f/x C# you will work with a team of experienced colleagues on the further development of the OPTANO platform and will design OPTANO-based project or client-based software modules. Your tasks will be varied and comprise fields such as data layers, computational logic and the interface.
You will assume a wide range of tasks which cover the entire development project:
- Checking requirements
- Creating the architecture and interface of the product.
- Software implementation
- Quality control
You have the following qualifications:
While we believe that soft skills and effective teamwork are essential, some professional skills are also required if you want to contribute to our company’s success as a software engineer (m/f/x).
- A university degree in IT, Business Information Technology, Mathematics or similar, or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
- Extensive experience in object-oriented programming with C#.
- Good analytical skills
- Savvy with common development tools (e.g. Microsoft Visual Studio or JetBrains Rider)
- Excellent German and English (spoken and written)
Experience in the following is desirable, yet not essential:
- Development in Blazor und ASP.NET core
- Experience in Cloud technologies (e.g. Azure or AWS)
- Continuous integration (e.g. JetBrains TeamCity)
- Continuous delivery (Container-Technologies)
- Database design and object mapper (Entity Framework)
- Using web-frontend technologies (Bootstrap, SASS, CSS, JavaScript)

This is a permanent full-time position and is available with immediate effect. However, we are flexible and would be willing to consider part-time models and a later starting date if you are unable to assume the position immediately.
