Based on our OPTANO platform, we develop customized software for successful companies such as car manufacturers, airlines and leading strategy consultancies. OPTANO is our platform for user-friendly applications. Many new ideas on visualization, process support, storage, faster calculation, etc. are just waiting to be implemented and this is where we need your support!
As an Analytics Software Engineer C# – Student (m/f/d), you and your team of consultants and software developers will assume customer projects on various optimization issues.
You will have a wide range of tasks which cover the entire development project:
- Software system architecture as well as structuring programs and classes
- The design, creation and implementation of user interfaces
- Support in the visual processing of data
- The design and implementation of data logic and presentation levels
- Displaying individual user processes in software
Basic knowledge in at least one of the above-mentioned areas would be of advantage although on-the-job training will be provided.
As a student you will work closely with our experienced software engineers (you will have direct contact to project managers, consultants and developers in the respective teams). Together you will find solutions which are impressive in quality and efficiency.

While we believe that soft skills and effective teamwork are essential, some professional skills are also required if you want to contribute to our company’s success as an Analytics Software Engineer C# – Student (m/f/d):
You would like to apply your know-how in fascinating practical projects while continuing to pursue your degree course and
- You are interested in software development
- software creation and usability fascinates you
- you see things from a user perspective and can understand the user’s needs.
Experience in at least one of the following technologies would be desirable, yet not essential:
- Visual Studio, Programmierung mit C#
- Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or Windows Forms
- EntityFramework, Linq2SQL or Linq2Entity
- Storage and runtime tuning
As a student you will receive ongoing training specifically in the applied technologies. Because you are interested in learning about new technologies and methods, you will constantly be up-to-date with current developments.

This is a fixed-term contract and the position is initially part-time. However, as a dynamic, expanding company we would be interested in a long-term working relationship.
In recent years, many students have written their final theses for their Bachelor or Master degrees under our team’s guidance. We offer a lot of fascinating tasks and would consider a thesis in our team to be an ideal start to a long-term working relationship.
