Based on our OPTANO platform, we develop customized software for successful companies such as car manufacturers, airlines and leading strategy consultancies. Our company was founded in 2009 and has continued to grow ever since. Our team in Paderborn now comprises more than 70 employees.

We are a small yet effective IT department in a dynamic and rapidly expanding software company and are looking for an IT Assistant (m/f/x) to enrich our team.
You will have a wide variety of taks which will cover the entire IT department:
- Integration, administration and monitoring of systems (mainly Windows, e.g. servers and clients, as well as some Linux servers), mostly in the data center
- Operating containerized environments with Docker, Kubernetes or other technologies
- Integrating and maintaining internal web applications
- Data center management
- Automating processes or developing scripts using PowerShell or Python
- Coordinating IT service providers and suppliers
- Consulting and support for teams and employees with technical questions and issues
You have the following qualifications:
Do you enjoy working in a team and working independently on tasks that have been assigned to you? Then we look forward to receiving your application!
Further requirements are:
- You are organized, work independently and are IT-affine
- You have good analytical skills and are interested in quickly familiarizing yourself with a wide range of tasks
- You work in a structured way with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technology
- You have basic knowledge or initial experience with at least one programming language (e.g. C#, C, Powershell, etc.)
- You have a very good knowledge of German and a good knowledge of English
We are looking for somebody who is always committed to finding optimal solutions and who is keen to gain valuable experience in an established team.
As a student worker you will receive training in the technology we use. Because you are interested in becoming familiar with new technologies and methods, you will constant remain up-to-date with current technical developments.
