OPTANO is our platform for user-friendly applications. Optimization projects based on OPTANO are ready to be deployed for our customers, and we need your help to make that happen.

AsModeling Consultant (m/f/x) you will address specific optimization challenges faced by our clients. You are an expert in optimization software, apply it in collaboration with our clients, and conduct analyses to support strategic consulting.

Your responsibilities are varied and span the entire project:

Developing requirements, objectives, and procedures in close collaboration with clients
Processing data to make it usable for optimization and other analyses (e.g., using tools such as KNIME, Alteryx, Python, Codex, etc.)
Expert in OPTANO Analytics products and other optimization software
Support our sales team with your expertise, for example by creating marketing materials and developing concepts for client projects

Combine the best of both worlds: As part of the OPTANO team, you’ll work on international projects for our parent company, Kearney, and support global companies with innovative optimization solutions.

And here's what you'll need to know:

While we consider soft skills and a collaborative spirit to be essential, there are a few technical skills you’ll need to succeed as a Modeling Consultant (m/f/x) with us:

Professional experience in consulting or similar project work, including the ability to clearly communicate the results achieved
A very strong college degree in operations research, business informatics, data science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred
Strong analytical skills and an interest in learning about and effectively using AI applications in a work setting
Experience in the targeted use of AI-powered tools for analyzing and generating data
Understanding of business processes and data-driven decision-making
Professional expertise in adapting to new situations
Excellent English skills

As Modeling Consultant (m/f/x) it is also occasionally necessary to visit customers onsite. We strive to ensure that our team’s travel commitments are as compatible as possible with their personal lives.

The employment contract for this position is for full-time, permanent employment, and the position is available immediately. However, we are very flexible and are open to part-time arrangements and a later start date. As a dynamic, growing company, we are interested in a long-term partnership.
