The topics of project management and information security have been very important to us since the company was founded. Our aim is to constantly review and improve ourselves in this area too. We have therefore sought outside expertise on these topics in order to have our processes reviewed and improved. Finally, in 2023, we participated in the DIN EN ISO/IEC 27001:2017 certification by Dekra and the TISAX assessment.
Our certificates
We are very pleased to announce that OPTANO GmbH has been certified to this standard. All security-relevant IT and business processes were checked by Dekra in an extensive audit process. The (re-)certification confirms that we meet the high requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

SOC 2 („System and Organization Controls 2“) is an internationally recognized standard that assesses the security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls of service organizations.
OPTANO completed its fourth annual SOC 2 Type II® audit in December 2024, followed by an additional HIPAA-compliant SOC 2 Type II report in February 2025.
