Below is an overview of what is new in the new version.

Users may only want to edit the input data in Excel. Until now, however, they could only export an entire scenario, including the output data (e.g., the results of the optimization).
With this feature, users now have the option to include output data in their exports. By default, however, only the input data is exported.
Since output data is often very large, excluding it can significantly reduce the size of the export. As a result, users receive faster exports, and the files are easier to handle due to their smaller size.
With version 7.4.0, we are introducing a general concept that allows long-running operations to be executed in the background without blocking users in their work.
We have extended this functionality so that all exports (CSV, Excel) now run in the background.
The platform handles large volumes of data. Operations involving these large datasets can sometimes be time-consuming and computationally intensive, which can impact the responsiveness of the application. At the same time, users expect to work smoothly within the application.
With background processing, users are no longer blocked while waiting for exports and can continue working within the UI.
The system remains responsive even when compute-intensive tasks are running.
