OPTANO is our platform for user-friendly applications. Optimization projects based on OPTANO are waiting to be used by customers and we need your support for this.
AsModeling Consultant (m/f/d) you will solve specific optimization issues for our customers. You are an expert in optimization software, apply it together with our customers and solve problems in strategic and operational consulting.
Your tasks are varied and cover the entire development project:
- Development of requirements, objectives and procedures in close cooperation with the customer
- Application of mathematical optimization models and possible solution methods in order to provide customers with strategic and operationally tailored advice
- Expert for OPTANO analytics products and other optimization software
- Preparation of data in order to use it for optimization (e.g. with tools such as Knime or Alteryx)
- Support our sales department with your expertise, e.g. by creating acquisition materials and conceptualizing customer projects

Even if we consider soft skills and good teamwork to be indispensable, a few specialist skills are necessary to be able to work for us as a Modeling Consultant (m/f/d):
- Professional experience in consulting or comparable project work including precise communication of the results achieved
- A very good university degree in operations research, data science, mathematics or a comparable subject area is desirable
- Good analytical skills
- Understanding of business processes and data-driven decision-making
- Professional competence for familiarization with new issues
- Very good knowledge of German and English
As a Modeling Consultant (m/f/d) is occasionally also depending on the project and in consultation Presence on site with customers necessary. We try to ensure that our team's travel activities are as compatible as possible with their private lives.

The employment contract for this position provides for permanent full-time employment and is to be filled immediately. However, we are very flexible and can also imagine part-time models and a later start. As a dynamic, growing company, we are interested in long-term cooperation.
